Sara Nickerson began her writing career working in television and film. Her first novel, How To Disappear Completely and Never Be Found, was first a screenplay that she adapted for middle grade readers. Her second, The Secrets of Blueberries, Brothers, Moose & Me, earned a BCCB Blue Ribbon Award and was called a “classic summer adventure” by the New York Times. And Last Meeting of the Gorilla Club was a Washington State Book Award finalist. Her writing has been translated into five languages and selected for several State Reading Lists. She lives in Seattle and enjoys long walks with her short dog.
